I can’t spell anymore.  Auto correct fixes my spelling and grammar for me.  But this doesn’t work for my handwritten notes.  So, I still have Google close by to quickly find out if there are both two m’s and two t’s in commitment. < Nope, just one t.  But committed has two, that’s right.

We have access to an easy tool that “helps” us spell, which results in we don’t know how to spell.  We have easy access in Tacoma to Mount Rainier and the Space Needle.  When was the last time you went?  Easy access means we can do it whenever, so whenever never happens.  I love the internet, Wikipedia, YouTube, WebMD (ha), podcasts, audio books, all of it at our fingertips.  But sometimes, I can’t decide what book to read.  How many times have you watched an hour of Netflix previews instead of watching one show?  Is that just me?

Now AI tools have made doing and learning even more efficient.  Wow, the things we have available to us!

Easy access can mean that we get lazy and thus get dumbed down or it can mean that our continual learning has no bounds.
